2019: Boost Year In Review

Happy New Year! With 2020 underway, we wanted to take a moment to look back at last year’s accomplishments. 2019 was a wonderful year for Boost Oregon, and we couldn't have done it without our generous supporters.

Here's a small snapshot of what YOU made possible in 2019:

  • Trained 16 medical providers to lead community workshops across Oregon;

  • Taught over 800 medical providers how to communicate with parents;

  • Translated our parents’ guide into Russian and hosted a community workshop in Russian;

  • Hosted 14 community workshops for parents;

  • Led workshops specifically for Somali & East African immigrants and Spanish-speakers;

  • Researched vaccine attitudes among African-American families and set the groundwork for programs and materials specifically for those families;

  • Hired a part-time Diversity Outreach Manager;

  • Presented at the National Conference of Immunization Coalitions & Partnerships and the National Governors’ Association;

  • And made national news with features on CBS Sunday morning and in The New York Times and The Washington Post.

Thank you so much for helping Boost Oregon to achieve the above and so much more. We are a community-led effort, and we have big plans for the new year! Please renew your support of Boost Oregon now.
