Boost Oregon offers educational programs for medical providers, patients, and the public about covid-19 and the available vaccines. all programs are live and virtual.

COVID-19 Community Workshop: Our 1-hour COVID-19 community workshop covers the COVID-19 virus, the vaccines available currently, the safety and effectiveness of them, the process of developing the vaccines and monitoring their safety, and potential reactions to the vaccines. We also address whatever questions the audience may have. The purpose of the workshop is to inform and educate without fear.

Medical Providers’ COVID-19 Seminar: Intended for medical providers of all levels, this 60-90 minute seminar teaches attendees to communicate effectively with patients about COVID-19 vaccines. Learn about mRNA and viral vector vaccines; how and why the available COVID-19 vaccines were developed and approved; what regulatory bodies and tools monitor the vaccines’ safety; and how to address common concerns from patients.

“Train the Trainers” Workshop: This workshop aims to inform community health workers, peer advocates, and other grassroots community workers about COVID-19 vaccines so that they feel confident educating their constituents and peers. The program comprises a 1-hour, live presentation by a medical provider and free access to slides, graphics, fact sheets, and buttons to use in educating others.
